Was this justice? True justice requires some sort of room for conscious especially with issues of morality.

In fact, if you ask me, what was done sidestepped justice. I think a far better resolution could have come if the business owners and the couple sat down and spoke with each other with a skilled neutral. Instead, moral positions became polarized and it became about right and wrong and we lost middle ground. There is a whole lot of gray in between that needs to be examined.

This case was fact intensive and if these people could have sat down together and talked about this from the heart, I cant help but think there would have been a different outcome. Moreover, I think both parties would have learned something about the other that was meaningful and positive and helpful to the overall discussion of the issue.
