So sad that this is what this family has been torn down to… A freedom of speech battle. This is an example of conflict defining the relationship. In the core of this issue are two adults who have not managed their conflict and due to the unresolved hurt and need for revenge have managed to further hurt each other and alienate their children. As you can see in this situation the children are collateral damage. Perhaps the father’s need for revenge and his 15 minutes of fame have clouded his judgement. Maybe his ex-wife was a “psycho” who knows, but does this give him the right to further humiliate his children for the sake of his unmet needs?
